Boards & Commissions

Below is a listing of the boards and commissions that serve the City of Belleview. If you are interested in serving on one of these boards, please complete and submit our City Board Application (PDF).
  1. City Commission

    The City Commission, which includes the Mayor, is responsible for determining the types and levels of services to be provided, as well as enacting laws, regulations, and policies that govern the City and its activities.

  2. Code Enforcement Board

    The Code Enforcement Board hears and decides code enforcement issues for the City of Belleview.

  3. Planning & Zoning Board

    The Planning and Zoning Board acts as an advisory Board to the City Commission for planning and zoning issues.

  4. Police Pension Board

    The Police Pension Board is a monitoring board for the Police Pension Plan. The Board is responsible for monitoring the investments in the pension plan in accordance with Florida Statute 185.

  5. Site Plan Review Committee

    The purpose of the Site Plan Review Committee is to review site plans for specific types of development to ensure compliance with all appropriate land development regulations (LDRs) and consistency with the Comprehensive Plan.

  6. Youth Commission

    The City of Belleview Youth Commission is for youth who are interested in making a difference in the community, learning more about local government, and meeting different people who bring a variety of ideas to the table.
