CITY ATTORNEY

The City Attorney is retained by the City of Belleview to offer legal advice and counsel to the City and all of its officers in matters relating to their official duties. 

A signed contract detailing the terms of his agreement is on file in the Clerk’s office.  The monthly retainer and responsibility fee is for his legal responsibility, his agreement not to accept clients which would directly conflict with the interests of the City of Belleview, and attendance at all of the Regular Commission Meetings, attendance at a weekly staff meeting, and attendance at a pre-Commission meeting with the Clerk for final update on all agenda items.
