Belleview is
primarily a residential community located in
South Marion County. It has six main
roadways and highways that run through it.
Highways 441/301/27 run north and south
together through the center of town, Highway
484 runs west
toward Interstate I-75, County Road 25 runs
east toward
Ocklawaha and Baseline Road (County Road 35)
runs north and south on the east side of
town. The Cities population as of the last
census in 2003 was 3612 citizens.
The Police
Department has 14 full time sworn personnel
and 4 general employees. Our goal is to
create a safe environment by placing a
priority on preventing unlawful activities.
Our enforcement actions are fair, aggressive,
and proactive, while displaying
understanding and respect.
