Belleview City Offices will be CLOSED on Monday, September 11th. The City of Belleview Police Department will have their phone line open 24/7 starting on Saturday for non-life threatening emergencies (352-245-7044). Please call 911 for all other emergencies.
City of Belleview garbage pickup will only occur on Monday, September 11th if windspeeds are under 40mph. If wind speeds exceeed 40mph, garbage pickup will be rescheduled to Tuesday.
The September 11th event at City Hall has been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.
The Wilma Loar Splash Park will be CLOSED from Saturday, September 9 through Tuesday, September 12th. It is tentatively scheduled to re-open on Wednesday, September 13th.
Post-Irma Yard Waste Removal Information:
This service is provided once per week on Wednesdays. The following specifications will apply to the yard waste:
- Leaves and grass must be put in a can or boxed.
- Limbs/branches must be tied or bundled.
- Limbs/branches need to be cut down to at least 4 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter and weigh no more than 50 lbs per bundle.
- Yard Trash and rubbish shall be placed in garbage containers or plastic bags, no greater than fifty (50) pounds, thirty two (32) gallons or in bundles that shall not exceed four (4) feet in length, six (6) inches in diameter and be secured with rope, string, twine, cord, or tape, except that lawn clippings and leaves may be placed in a cardboard box.
Failure to follow these guidelines will result in yard waste and debris not being picked up. Thank you!
