Can I have a storage shed or detached carport on my property?
Yes, with certain conditions. Sheds and other accessory structures (pools, workshops, etc) must be located in the rear yard. Carports may be located in the front or side yard. Accessory buildings shall not exceed the height of the main house and shall be subject to the following minimum setbacks:

• From the property line along road rights-of-way .....25 feet
• From the property line along the side and rear .....8 feet
• From other onsite buildings .....5 feet
• From the front property line (carports only)…..10 feet
