Devon Torres and Hernan Gonzalez were recognized with certificates at the May 27th Youth Commission Meeting. These students have been part of the Youth Commission for several years. They have toured the city's departments, completed service projects, participated in Youth Commission conferences and volunteered at many City events.
Devon Torres is graduating from Belleview High School and plans to attend the College of Central Florida for two years to obtain an associate’s degree and plans to transfer to the University of Florida to major in psychology.
Hernan Gonzalez is graduating from Belleview High School and plans to attend the College of Central Florida for two years to obtain an associated degree and plans to transfer to Florida State University to study political science and economics.
