Building Division

The Building Division is comprised of City staff that enforces the Florida Building Code. Building Division responsibilities include:
  • Issuing permits for building construction and improvements.
  • Inspecting all aspects of construction at progressive stages.
  • Issuing Certificates of Occupancy.
  • Reviewing plans for new construction including improvements and additions.
  • Verifying contractor licensing and insurance.
