NOTICE OF COMMISSION SEAT VACANCY

Notice is hereby given that the City of Belleview Commission will accept Applications and Letters of Interest to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Gary Ernst, Commission Seat 2, until the next official Municipal Election, which will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022. You MUST reside in the City of Belleview to apply for this Commission Seat Appointment.

Pursuant to the City’s Charter, Article III – Section .02 – Qualification of members, the following are requirements to be a City Commissioner:

  • Applicant must be a bona fide resident of the City of Belleview.

  • Applicant must be a citizen of the State of Florida and the United States of America.

  • Applicant must be a registered voter and be qualified to vote in city, state and national elections.

  • Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Applicant must have resided within the city limits of the City of Belleview for one (1) year immediately preceding the date of the election.  

Along with the application, please include a Letter of Interest with a narrative as to why you would be a good candidate for the City of Belleview Commission with any additional information you wish to share with the Commission.

Following appointment, the approved candidate will be required to file a Financial Disclosure Form in accordance with state regulations.

Completed Commission Seat Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 4:00 P.M. on later Monday, March 22, 2022, to be considered.
