Friday Foodie Fest

Held the third Friday of every month, January - September, at Lake Lillian, this monthly event features lots of family fun! Centered around food trucks, music, free activities for children, and shop with local businesses and craft vendors while enjoying yummy food. Come for the food and stay for the fun! 

NOTE: Registration for NON-FOOD TRUCK VENDORS for the 2026 season is now open.  This form can be used to register if you are either (a) a cottage industry vendor, (b) a non-food vendor or (c) a nonprofit organization.  Food Trucks will be secured through a different form at a later date. Once received, our office will process and issue invoices for the selected dates.

Crafting Connection: building community through creativity program series

Cost: $0 per person - NOW FREE!

Join us on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 6pm - 8pm at the Belleview Community Center.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own crafting project and receive insights from our experts. PLUS, we'll have materials to create your own decorated pen. Children are welcome - coloring books and Legos are provided.

Freedom Walk

The Freedom Walk is held each year on 9/11 in remembrance of the victims of 9/11/2001. The event includes a short ceremony with local first responders at the Belleview Community Center and is followed by a solemn walk.  All are welcome to join the walk and the ceremony.

More information on the 2026 Freedom Walk will be available in Spring/Summer 2026.

Trunk or Treat 

Held in October on the Saturday before Halloween, this is a free family fun event that provides safe trick-or-treating including games, hayrides, and more! Trunk-or-Treat, powered by Gary Yeoman's Ford, is a fun way to promote your business/organization while being involved with the community.

Light Up Lake Lillian

Held the first Saturday in December, citizens from all over South Marion County come to participate in Lake Lillian’s first lighting for the holiday season. Attendees can enjoy a visit from Santa as well as free arts and crafts and children's activities. Vendors offer a wide variety of food and merchandise.

PAW Chili Challenge & HUBCAT Car Show

The 2026 PAW Chili Challenge & HUBCAT Car Show, presented by Sheltering Hands Inc., will take place on January 24, 2026, from 12 PM to 4 PM at Lake Lillian in Belleview. 

Attendees can enjoy a vendor marketplace, food trucks, inflatables, games, and music, with a chili cook-off featuring CASI and Open competitions. Proceeds benefit the United Way of Marion County and Sheltering Hands.

Annual Fishing Derby

The 2026 Belleview Youth Fishing Derby will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Lake Lillian.  Check-in will start at 8:00am with the derby between 9:00am - 12:00pm.  Awards and the free community cookout (courtesy of the Belleview Police Department) follow at 12:00pm at the Community Center.

Fishing is Fun, and whether your kids are beginners or pros, they will have a great time at our annual fishing derby. Lake Lillian is stocked yearly to prepare for this event by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission with catfish and bass. Open to children ages 15 and under and held annually at Lake Lillian in April or May, this free event offers a morning of fishing with bait provided and prizes in two categories for biggest fish and most fish caught. We wrap the derby up with a free community cookout hosted by our Belleview Police Department.

Founder's Day

Our Annual Founder's Day will take place Saturday, May 2, 2026 between 10:00am - 3:00pm at Lake Lillian. Event attendees can enjoy a variety of craft, business, and food vendors! Free children's activities include games, crafts, and inflatables as well as activities and booths focusing on our city's history!

Gregg Smith Automotive Car Show at Founder's Day

Rev up your engines and register your ride for the Gregg Smith Automotive Car Show at Belleview Founder’s Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Whether you own a sleek modern car, a timeless classic, a rugged Jeep, or a powerful truck, there’s a category for you. 

Pre-register online for just $10 or sign up at the event for $15. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Marion County, so you can show off your vehicle while supporting a great cause. Trophies, raffles, 50/50, music, food trucks and more.

Christmas Parade

Held the first Sunday in December, citizens from all over South Marion County come to enjoy the annual Belleview Christmas Parade to kick off the holiday season. The parade is organized and coordinated by Friends of the Christmas Parade, LLC.
