***The City of Belleview recently received funding assistance from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (FDEP) State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program, with joint funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The loan agreement was executed for just over $6 million and includes $2.25 million in Principal Forgiveness which will not need to be repaid. The loan will help fund construction of the Belleview Water Treatment Plant No. 3 – Phase 1 project which includes construction of a new 1.20 million gallon per day water treatment plant, construction of two new wells, installation of 2,700 linear feet of water main, paving, and related appurtenances. This project is necessary to ensure that the City of Belleview continues to have a safe and sufficient drinking water supply.
