Overview
The Development Services Department manages existing and future development within the City of Belleview. Matters pertaining to zoning, the Comprehensive Plan, land use, building codes, and inspections all fall within the purview of the Development Services Department.
Management
The Development Services Department falls under the direction of the Development Services Director, who answers directly to the City Commission and coordinates with the City Administrator. The Development Services Department consists of several divisions: Planning & Zoning, Building, Code Compliance, and Business Taxes.
Mission
While its responsibilities are varied, the Development Services Department ensures that development and the implementation of programs and activities in Belleview occur in a safe, orderly, and fair manner.
